What is freestuff - well it's our web designers idea of "Blatant Marketing" to get more people to this web site. We told him it just won't work - I mean he is an amateur, came up on holiday to the Scottish Highlands and said he could make us all e-millionaires by the end of the year. How can he compete with huge marketing teams, millions of spam e-mails, paid adverts on TV, radio, newspapers and finally a budget of zill, nothing, not a bean. We did offer to fully fund the marketing for the web site - we said - Richard here take fifty quid (1) and get it done. He laughed in our face and said "keep your money, who needs it, I'll do it for a fiver and still give you change" (2).
(1) - 75 US dollars, £50 for non Glasgow folk (2) - 7.5 US dollars, £5 etc
So do you think he is going to manage it for a fiver?
If you want to help him achieve this you can use the FreeStuff on www.camusnagaul.com and if you like the stuff he has created please let your friends (or enemies if you don't like the stuff) know about it, send them an e-mail or an e-card. Send it to them for Christmas, birthday's, wedding anniversaries - it will save you a fortune in presents. And you can feel good about not buying any presents - as you will have helped Richard out, I mean what else can your friends ask for....helping out a bloke you have never heard of before.

What do we get out of it?
Hopefully your money when you visit us or buy our fantastic crafts and gifts online at Maggie's Online Craft Shop - well, Richard did say to be honest, what's the point of lying he said, people aren’t stupid, they know you don't get nothing for nought - well he said something like that. We don't really know what he means half the time, he just rambles on about jpg's, digital pictures, ISP's (we thought he meant ESP as we have a lot of that up in the highlands), domain names, marketing strategy - yes he actually used the words "marketing strategy" as if he knew what he was talking about - we just had to humor him and let him ramble. The poor lad actually thinks he knows how to sell Camusnagaul to people on the internet.
Go on - be a devil, help him market this web site for less than a fiver!

Richard's FreeStuff Menu
The FreeStuff is a growing number of free to use and own pictures and printable things such as Screensavers, Desktop Calendars, Printed Calendars, Greeting Cards, Letter Headings, Postcards etc (and anything else we can think up that costs us nothing to make or give to you).
The number of items will gradually grow in number (gradually that is because I need to sleep at some point). So please bookmark (Ctrl + D) and come back often, tell your friends (and enemies).
Year Planner - Calendars (for 2005)
These are available as either Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format files or jpg's. The pdf's can be printed out in colour or black and white. The jpg picture files can be used on your computer desktop so you always have the correct date available.

To set the picture on your Windows desktop enlarge the picture by clicking on it once, then when it has opened up a larger version of the picture - right click on the picture and select the required option

You can:
-
Save Picture As ... to your hard disk on your computer
-
E-mail Picture .... to someone you like (usually)

Set as Background ..... becomes a picture on the Windows desktop. You need to set the desktop background picture to Centre (right click the Windows desktop and select Properties to find the menu involved).
- Set as Desktop Item .... the one I like most as you can move the Desktop Calendar around - although you do need an up-to-date version of Microsoft Windows.
The Save as Desktop Item... is the most useful one for the Monthly Desktop Planner - this is a month calendar that is displayed on your computer screen along with a short message from the Folks at Camusnagaul. I know I always forget dates - and this is quicker than looking up my Palmtop. The Desktop Item can be set up to Synchronize - say on the first of every month, or you can click on the Synchronize button. If you need more help with this please click - instructions.
OK- remember the disclaimer - we do our best to check for viruses on all our desktop computers, however it is your responsibility to maintain an up-to-date anti-virus software on your computer and we do not accept any responsibility for damage, loss of earnings, divorces or any other calamity that may befall you for using our FreeStuff.
If you dont have an antivirus software on your computer please do not download ANY files until you have installed one. I use Norton antivirus on all my machines, however you can download an excellent Free anti-virus software from http://free.grisoft.com/. One last thing - pictures of our dogs are often shown on FreeStuff - their names are Charlie, the gorgeous collie in the picture below, Sam, our fantastic PAT (Pets as Therapy) dog and finally the smallest one Hamish - our long legged Jack Russell. He is very proud of his long legs, however he can walk under both Sam and Charlie - but please don't tell him we think this is funny.
